Lebanon: Booming business center

Lebanon is a booming mid-valley community, nestled next to the South Santiam River and a magnet for business and professional enterprise. Located conveniently at the juncture of U.S. Highway 20 and state Highway 34, as well as some other major county roads, Lebanon is home to a Lowe’s distribution center, Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital and the recently established COMP-Northwest medical school, which trains osteopathic physicians.

Lebanon is the commercial center for much of central and eastern Linn County and is also ideally located for outdoor activities such as fishing and hunting, and the Build Lebanon Trails organization has been working to develop hiking and riding facilities in the area.

In addition to the famous Strawberry Festival in June, Lebanon also offers summer and fall events, including concerts in the park, tractor pulls, stock car racing at the Willamette Speedway and much, much more.
